High Five Foundation regularly receives questions from participants and volunteers. On this page we have listed the most frequently asked questions for you.

Participants
Of course, it can always happen that you lose your pass. Fortunately, High Five Foundation has an extra pass ready for all participants, just to be on the safe side!
When you come to a High Five Foundation event, go to our registration desk and tell us you lost your pass. You will receive a new pass from us immediately.
Please note that we keep track of who loses his/her pass. If you lose your pass more often, High Five Foundation may charge a small fee for making a new pass. Please be aware of this!
Once registration for an event starts, you will receive an email from us with a button to sign up (also check your spam folder!). This will take you to the registration page. Here you can register all children registered at your e-mail address for an event at once:
After you sign up, you will receive a confirmation email from us immediately. This way you can be sure that your child(ren) is/are properly enrolled:
Note: 1 or 2 weeks before the event you will always receive an email from us with the latest info. So keep an eye on your mailbox!
Are you not receiving emails from us? Then it may be that your e-mail address is incorrect in our system. In that case, please contact us!
Please note: you can only apply to High Five Foundation if you are 4-16 years old and affiliated with the Voedselbank Dordrecht!
Once you are enrolled in High Five Foundation, you remain a member until:
- You turn 17
- You will be deregistered from the Food Bank
- You unsubscribe yourself from High Five Foundation
I am turning 17 or have turned 17
If you are turning 17 or have just turned 17, you may still join High Five Foundation events until January 1 of the following year. So if you turn 17 on June 15, 2021, we'll deregister you on January 1, 2022.
I have been deregistered from the Food Bank
There can be several reasons that you have been disenrolled from the Food Bank. For example, if your parents have started earning more and therefore are no longer entitled to the services of the Food Bank
Good news! After you are deregistered from the Food Bank, you may still join High Five Foundation for 1 more year. We check each year on January 1 whether you are still entitled to enroll with High Five Foundation.
An example: if you are deregistered from the Food Bank on June 15, 2021, you may join High Five Foundation until June 15, 2022. But because we only do the check once a year on Jan. 1, you may join until Jan. 1, 2023.
Volunteers
Great that you would like to become a volunteer with High Five Foundation! Because High Five Foundation works with a vulnerable population (children ages 4-16 affiliated with the Food Bank), we have a strict volunteer selection policy:
- Volunteers can only nominate each other, e.g. family/friends/colleagues
- For every volunteer, High Five Foundation applies for a (free) VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct)

All High Five Foundation volunteers have access to the High Five Foundation app. Once you are registered with High Five Foundation, you will automatically receive a login to the app from us.
The app allows you to register for High Five Foundation events. From the menu, go to "Events" and click on the "INFO" button next to an event. At the bottom is a "Sign up for event" button.
Immediately after registration you will receive a confirmation email from us (also check your spam!). So you can be sure that your registration has gone well:
